Our New Site and What I Learned
I’m really proud of the work that the team did on the site to bring it into the world, the development is top-notch. And, I’m happy with the design work that I did in the process. That said, I’ll never ever ever ever ever do it again. Not ever. Never. Why? Well, it is pretty simple.
Hail WebM!
In the next couple of months, you will be noticing a new way to view videos on the internet. It’s not going to be a huge evolutionary leap forward like virtual reality, but it is significant enough to warrant some excitement from the folks that develop the websites you use everyday. It’s called WebM.
Update: What’s been happening at Envy Creative
The last few weeks here at Envy have been pretty exciting. We finished off the year with a few great projects that we’re really proud of.
Site of the Week #1
This is a beautiful site and a very cool concept. I love the big color blocks and the type choices are simply phenomenal. The menu and the item pages are perfectly designed.
Help Out Our Friend, Mike Glass
On Wednesday, July 19, lightning struck a duplex in Shorewood, Wiscosin – right outside of Milwaukee’s East Side community. The fire started in the attic and extended down into the top-level apartment. The occupants include two adults and two children: Laura Kregloski, her daughters Emily and Brooke, and her boyfriend, Michael Glass. The entire group got out of the apartment unscathed, but lost most everything in the fire. They had just moved into this duplex two months earlier.
